Thanks for showing me and also for an opportunity to hear German. I understood almost everything. I was looking to buy the new product „the Deflector“ by Jazzlab but nobody seems to carry it. It doesn’t seem available yet in Los Angeles. I think I’ll go ahead and buy their new Saxholder though. So far I’ve been using a 2″ wide strap for electric bass but the tenor still feels heavy after a while. Sorry for writing in English but it’ll be much faster for me.
Hi Nikolai, great! Thank you. The deflector is a good idea. You can built it easy by yourself if you cant buy it. I have no idea, where you can find it near Los Angeles. There ist another saxophone video colleage on Youtube, you know him: Florian Rooz. He reviews the original deflector. I guess you´ve already found the video? https://youtu.be/W-4QjC_glTM Their Saxholder is a good think. I tried it with a student of mine. Its quite comfortable and releases a lot of weight from the neck. But a bass strap is great idea. And looks unique too, right? I like writing/talking in english. A few weeks ago, I began to refresh my school english, and someday I am trying to shoot a video in english…
Ich habe schon ein deflektor gebaut nach ihre Idee. Das sollte ich schon seit langem getan haben. Vielen Dank für ihre Idee. Und dank das, ich hörte dass mein laut war ziemlich scharf und deshalb tauschte ich den Mundstück aus für einen das ist „mellower“. Vielen Dank!
